Washburn Greek Volunteers (circa 1962)

A group of Washburn University fraternity and sorority members gather around Frank McGrath, executive secretary of the Capper Foundation for Crippled Children, to get a list of odd jobs for which they volunteered. This annual work day Saturday is part of “Greek Week” activities. About 250 to 275 students participate in scrubbing hallways and windows and doing other work at the foundation.
