The Crystal Ball (1991)

Elegance was the word for the gala evening, Saturday, March 2, sponsored by Payless Shoesource. The Crystal Ball was held this year at Topeka Country Club and featured the big band sound of the Kings of Swing dance band. More than 130 attendees enjoyed the music, good food, and companionship of other Capper contributors.

A three foot sculptured ice vase filled with flowers from Stanley’s provided the centerpiece for the decorations. Each table was draped with silver and laden with flowers in glass globes, which provided a glamorous setting for the gala.

Board chairman, John Knoll, supplied an update on the Outreach program; Ed Gibbons and Monty Nelson introduced special guests. Marvin and Steven (shown) distributed programs as student ambassadors for Capper Foundation.
