Kim (2018)

Every day, staff at the Capper Foundation Winfield location are met with a smile and friendly greeting from Kim: “Hey you!”

She has found a new level of independence, earning a paycheck working as a custodian at our Winfield offices. And with support from the staff, Kim is participating in activities outside of her home with less anxiety than previously experienced. Kim loves giving back to the community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels. With the dedicated help of her guardian, Capper staff, and our supporters, Kim is thriving! She is growing more confident daily, loves to create art and is developing valuable social skills to be in the community.
