Carols for Capper Children (1962)

Children at the Capper Foundation for Crippled Children have been visited by one or two groups of carolers every night this week. They sit in the lounge and listen attentively. At the close of the caroler’s program, the children sing back to them, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Shown Caroling at the Capper Foundation is a chorus of Topeka men singing barber shop arrangements of  Christmas songs. From the Topeka chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America are, from left to right, Charles White, O.J. Kroeker, Chet Fox, Herbert Crapson and Mel Blegstad.
