“iCan Bike” is a unique 5-day summer program experience to give 30 individuals with disabilities (ages 8 and older) the self-confidence to learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle. Using specialized equipment, coaching, and encouragement, participants will “lose the training wheels!” For individuals with disabilities, learning to ride a bicycle has many benefits, such as increased confidence and self-esteem, inclusion with peers, independent transportation, and most important, increased quality of life through recreation. The camp will consist of up to 5 sessions per day (approximately 90 minutes per session), with each rider participating in one session per day throughout the week. Maximum of 6 riders per session.
