Unstoppable Zoey

Some of you may remember Zoey from our social media pages and printed materials. Earlier this year, her parents shared about Zoey’s journey with Capper, beginning back in July of 2017 when she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Zoey’s diagnosis often results in the use of a wheelchair, but physical therapy at Capper has helped improve her mobility and prevent further decline. Along with her family and loved ones, the staff at Capper have encouraged Zoey to keep working hard and dreaming big, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the amazing progress she has made.

With treatment, she has regained her ability to stand, walk farther, climb, play on playgrounds, and more. She has even started taking lessons to accomplish her dream of becoming a dancer! Way to go Zoey!
