DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Capper Foundation\, Bettis Companies\, and Koss Construction Company\nC.A.S.T. for Kids – Lone Oak – 1718 E 150th Rd\, Lecompton\, KS on September 12 at 9 am. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a C.A.S.T. for Kids event designed to provide children with special needs (ages 6-21) the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Join us for an unforgettable morning of fishing and celebrating amazing children! Choose how you’d like to register. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect at a C.A.S.T. Event\n\n\n\n\nC.A.S.T. for Kids events are designed for children with special needs. Events are free for children to attend\, and all children leave with their very own fishing equipment! Children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian for the ENTIRE event. \nUpon arrival\, please check in at the event registration table. You and your child will be paired with a volunteer for approximately 2-3 hours of fishing. The fishing is followed by lunch for everyone and an awards ceremony for the children. A day of joy and celebration for all! \nPre-registration is required. Space is limited. Contact the event coordinator with any questions or to see if a child out of the suggested age limit can participate. Once registered\, event details will be sent to you via email and text within two weeks prior to the event day. \nWe look forward to fishing with you! \n\n\n\n\nChild Participant Registration Instructions\nC.A.S.T. for Kids events are designed for children with special needs. Children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian for the ENTIRE event.  EACH registered child fishing participant must have their own parent/guardian on site.  \nTo register a child with special needs\, a parent or guardian must complete the form below. You may register up to 4 children with special needs from the same household on this form. No third-party registrations are allowed. \nOnce submitted\, you will receive a confirmation email. Check your spam folder if your confirmation is not seen in your inbox. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation emails and texts event details and reminders within 2 weeks of event date. If you register the week of the event\, you will need to contact the Event Coordinator for event details. Registrations can be canceled by emailing the Event Coordinator. \nWe can’t wait for you to join the incredible members of your community for a day of fishing and celebrating your child! \nVolunteer Information\n\nAnyone with a heart to serve children with special needs is invited to volunteer! Fishing experience is not required. On average\, volunteers serve 6 hours the day of the event. Shore Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up and organization\, registration and sign-in process\, photo process\, fishing with children\, preparing for and serving lunch\, celebrating the children\, clean up and more. \nRegistration is required. All volunteers 13-17 years of age must have a registration form completed by parent/guardian.  Our 13–15 year-old volunteers must have either a parent or guardian on site. We ask that all volunteers’ children aged 12 and under stay at home so that our volunteers can give their undivided attention to our event participants. \nContact the event coordinator with any questions. SUMMARY:I GOT THIS Golf Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n \n  \nCapper Foundation\, in partnership with I GOT THIS Foundation and the Topeka Country Club\, are hosting this special adaptive camp for athletes ages 13 years and up (adults welcome) to learn the fundamentals of golf and develop a love for this beneficial sport. Camp dates are October 4-8 from 4pm to 6:30pm daily at the Topeka Country Club\, 2700 SW Buchanan\, Topeka\, Kansas.\nAthletes must have controllable behaviors\, mobility allowing for standing and walking and have a diagnosis of Down Syndrome and/or Intellectual Disability to participate.\nAthletes will be instructed by professional golf instructors aligned with I GOT THIS Golf Camp. A Playing Partner is required to assist the Athlete and should be a family member or friend of choice who knows the needs of the Athlete and can assist them during the camp. No golf experience is necessary. It’s a great way for a non-golfer to learn alongside the Athlete as well! Your Athlete must provide a Playing Partner for the five days of the camp\, as Capper Foundation nor the Topeka Country Club will not be providing volunteer buddies. Equipment is provided for Athletes who do not have their own clubs. Playing Partners do not need equipment.
